About Emily Masters

Hey there, I'm Emily, but you can call me Em!

I'm not just your average physiotherapist; I'm also an Exercise Scientist with an unquenchable curiosity about the marvel that is the human body.

My journey into the world of physiotherapy began when I was a young, injury-prone athlete. This led me to pursue a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, followed by another in Physiotherapy.

For well over a decade now, I've had the incredible opportunity to work both in the realm of sports and in private practice. I've had the privilege of meeting all sorts of individuals, ranging from high-performance athletes to those who simply love weekend workouts (and everyone in between). It's these diverse experiences that keep me grounded and fueled with a passion to help and serve others, making a positive impact along the way.

I've had the privilege of working with some of the AFL's most prominent teams, including the likes of the West Coast Eagles, Carlton FC, and Essendon FC.

My journey in the AFL world has taken me through numerous showcase games, adding to my wealth of experience. I've also ventured into the WAFL scene, where I contributed my expertise to the Claremont Football Club. Between 2015 and 2019, I had the honor of being part of the WA State Academy, where I played a role in nurturing young talents, helping them shape the future of the sport.

Currently, I'm proudly serving as the head physio at the Trinity Aquinas Amateur Football Club in the Perth Football League, continuing my dedication to athlete well-being and the love of the game.

But my experiences don't stop at the football field.

In 2015, I took an exhilarating detour to the tennis courts as a Tournament Physio for the prestigious Hopman Cup. During this exciting stint, I had the pleasure of working with global tennis icons such as Serena Williams, John Isner, Andy Murray, and Agnieszka Radwańska, among others. It's been a remarkable journey filled with diverse and rewarding experiences!
